Today a brand new Bosch was delivered and installed. Ultra low energy use; ultra quiet. And it's stainless. Five years later, our kitchen is finally finished. Toby is greatly relieved.

The white dishwasher developed a leak a few months ago -- not in a hose or seal, but the pump itself. DOA. So it finally had to go. YAY!

The only major appliance we didn't replace in the 2006 remodel was the dishwasher. It was fancy, it had come with the house ... but it was white. We elected to overlook the aesthetic offense in favor of economy. But it really looked like the classroom dork amid all the groovy stainless.
